Description
There is a serious timer problem at least in the combination Host: Ubuntu 10.04 64Bit, Kernel 2.6.32-23-server CPU: AMD Phenom(tm) II X4 965 Processor Memory: 8GB
Guest1: "Tomcat" Ubuntu 10.04 32Bit, Kernel 2.6.32-22-generic Guest2: "Convert" Windows XP SP3 32Bit.
Both guests show a seriously slow timer. It looks like 1 second in the guests is about 3 "Real" seconds. It look like this problem is independent from the guest-os but depends on the number of guests that are active.

There is deffinitely a dependence to the number of active guests.
If there is only 1 guest active the time is Ok.
If there are more than 1 guest active the error occure. This is independent of the actual load. even if all guests are idle and the host shows a total load of less than 5% this timer difference happens. There is no difference if the host uses "nohz" or "highres" to on or off. It also does not depend if the guest-additions are installed or not.
