Description
I installed the 2.2.2 version - operation seems to be fine so far have not seen anything I could not do.
However even after closing out the virtual machine my Host PC running Windows XP SP3 will hang just before it should go into standby mode. It will stay that way over night. When I want to start the machine back up it does not respond and I have to power the machine off with front switch or power cord - system then boots up normal but when I attempt to send it into standby mode it will hang again.

I installed version 3.0.10 (VirtualBox-3.0.10-54097-Win.exe) and now I cannot enter stand by mode in Windows (XP SP3). Even if I don't execute VirtualBox at all. Windows can't enter Stand By mode: it just hangs with a window saying "Preparing to Stand By".
I'm going to remove VirtualBox from my system to try to get Windows working.

Please reopen if still relevant with VBox 4.0.4.
I have the same problem, too, while I didn't experience it with the previous version of VirtualBox.
