Description (last modified by )
System: Mac Mini Intel Core2Duo 1,83GHz, Host: Mac OS X Leopard, Guest: Windows Vista x64 OEM Virtualbox 2.1.2 --- I added manually the screen resolution 1920x1200. After installation of the guest additions, I changed in the control panel of Vista the screen resolution to 1920x1200. Vista seems to support this new screen resolution. However, when I reboot the system, the screen is damaged completely. I can only see stripes with the color of the screen background. At startup of Vista I pressed the F8 key and selected start up with low resolution 640x480. Now, the screen is okay. When I set up the screen resolution in the control panel to 1920x1200, the screen shows the new resolution correctly. But after reboot of the system, the video driver seems to crash again with this high resolution.

I installed Windows XP 32bit as guest on the same machine. The video driver on XP works correctly. Seems only a problem of Vista x64.
