The same occurs when booting an OpenSolaris live CD or SXCE DVD. Logs attached.

comment:2 by Ian Collins, 16 years ago

The problem does not occur when SATA is not enabled.

comment:3 by Ian Collins, 16 years ago

Partly fixed in 2.0.4. The guest no longer crashes with SATA enabled, but it does hang when a SATA boot drive is used.

comment:4 by Sander van Leeuwen, 16 years ago

Retry with 2.0.6 please.

comment:5 by Ian Collins, 16 years ago

The guest now runs off a SATA boot drive. All appears well until the guest additions package is installed. After that, it hangs on boot.
