i was just not able to add the file of the windows xp so im doing it on here

turns out i was not able to add the windows xp file

so im sending the url instead

I named it Windows XP

selected next

first attempt did 129 MB of memory

second attempt did 512 MB of memory

selected create virtual hard disk now

put a check mark on pre-allocate full size

selected next

selected finish

selected settings

selected system

moved hard disk as first boot order

selected storage

selected empty

selected the blue disk icon

selected choose a disk file

chose my windows xp file i got from internet archive

selected ok

and then clicked run

it began the windows xp installation process

and then somewhere through it

the installation just aborted
