Debian packages for bookworm AKA Debian v12

Debian/bookworm (see ​https://wiki.debian.org/DebianReleases) is already in soft freeze and will soon go into hard freeze, see ​https://release.debian.org/bookworm/freeze_policy.html

The Debian packages for bullseye sadly don't work on Debian/bookworm due to dependency problems:

FTR, in bookworm libssl3 (via openssl/libssl-dev) is the replacement for libssl1.1 and libvpx7 (via libvpx/libvpx-dev) the replacement for libvpx6.

Would be great to have Debian packages for bookworm available, thanks for consideration!

Thank you for pointing out. We will need to wait until Bookworm will be officially released. Building packages in pre-release/unstable distribution environment is not a good way to go. For now, you can use "All distributions" (.run) package from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Linux_Downloads.

Hi, many of us in the a Debian community are waiting for this for Debian 12, especially after the Red Hat paywall source code hiding. Honestly, this should have been done months ago, because Bookworm beta had been available for more than 6 months, and the libraries are mostly the same...

Anyways, requesting this to come out soon.
