#19597 new defect
Mouse pointer doesn't work properly in Windows guests when scaling is on

Description
This problem started happening when I've got a 4k monitor and set scaling >= 150% in the guest OSes (as VBs built-in scaling makes the picture very blurry).
When I have mouse integration enabled, certain types of mouse pointers look messed up (see the attached video for an example). When mouse integration is disabled, the mouse pointer freezes in place when moving over certain locations on the screen (it seems that these locations are same as in the first case). Guests I tried so far - Windows 7 and Windows 10, both have this bug. This problem doesn't happen for Ubuntu. Hosts - Windows 7 and 10, and Ubuntu 20. All have this bug.

Could you download and install "Latest 6.1.x test builds" from https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Testbuilds, your bug should be fixed there. Do not forget to update Guest Addition in your Windows guests. Thank you for reporting!

This bug was not completely fixed in 6.1.10 as stated in changelog. I've described my experience here: https://www.virtualbox.org/ticket/15665
Using now v6.1.14 with Windows 10 v2008 guest and Windows 10 pro v2004 host. Problem is still there.
PS this problem disappears when I switch display emulation to the old VBoxVGA mode
