Description
Importing ovf virtual machine on ubuntu, desktop freezes intermittently. Doesn't happen on Windows. Looks like the process uses all the available disk throughput capacity at maximum. Even browsing the web is a pain.

Yes, Linux is known for that feature. JUst jesterday I observed the same behavior while copying 23 ISO images from hard disk to USB disk under Linux. The desktop and other applications where barely usable.

It has to be a linux issue, doesn't happen on Windows 10. Will try this link and see what happens:
didn't test when exporting, but probably it's the same. Maybe some setting for lower disk priority or something like in windows. Maybe it's some OS thing.
