Description

I was in the process of installing the Avast AntiVirus software within a Windows XP VM and received a critical error occurred message. Is it not possible to install an antivirus software within the VM? Mainly I was doing this to avoid the error that pops up regularly warning that no antivirus has been installed.

The VBox. png file was too large to upload.

The latest Avast antivirus require VT-x to be available. Since a WinXP guest does not have VT-x, you can't install Avast.
