Hi,

Please am unable to install my new kali-linux-light-2018.1-i386 on windows 7 host which is giving me a guru meditation error.

From your log:

00:00:02.375144 HM: HMR3Init: Falling back to raw-mode: VT-x is not available

The additional problem is that your Intel Pentium B970 does not support VT-x. So, you can't run Kali (even 32-bit) on your computer.

For future reference, it's usually better and faster, if issues like this one (configuration, question) get first addressed in the VirtualBox forums. More than 95% of the issues are resolved over there, which keeps the developers focusing on the bug fixes and enhancements, and there is no need for another ticket to keep track of. For example, yours is not a bug and someone from the developers has to deal with it and close it as "Invalid".

EFI firmware for guests is only supported together with hardware virtualization (VT-x/AMD-V). Obviously Linux does not need EFI.

Oops, I didn't even notice that EFI was active, I went straight for the VT-x.
Yeah, that won't help things either...
