Description
Macbook Pro 8,2 (2011) with 8G RAM running OS X 10.11.3 VirtualBox 5.0.14, guest OS X 10.10 with VM type set to Mac OS X and version set to 10.10 Yosemite (64-bit). Base memory has been set from 1536M to 3072M with the same results.
Boot of installation image goes OK, installer runs fine, no errors, upon reboot there's gurumediation seemingly right at bootloader to kernel handoff.

Problem does not happen with an OS X 10.9 Mavericks guest (with associated VM type>version set to 10.9 Mavericks). Installs and boots post-install OK. All other conditions are identical as originally reported.

I'm aware of similar reports. So far no idea, we need to reproduce the problem.
