Description

Hi there, I'm having this problem many months now and have monitoring Forum and other tickets but to luck. Host windows 7 64 bit ultimate and guest windows server 2003 32bit but run on 64 bit in vbox. I'm running online server on guest machine and im getting network crashes every 2 - 4 days. I'm Using NatNetwork and having lots connection to this machine through gate software (people can login to game using launcher). When network crash on guest launcher it's showing closed and i can't use teamwiever to connect to guest and also people can't login in to game but people who are already connected to server/game and they playing online they fine till they log off or kicked by crash of network. So i can restart gate software and it's helping but only for few hours and then network crash completely, then full restart of machine is needed.

Sorry for my bad English hope you can understand my problem. If you can have a look on this please i relay need to fix it. Before this problem i had crashes because of not enough ram on host. I fixed this now, but when this present error showing i have no error windows.

Anyone who can help please do so and many thanks in advance.

Please, can you give a recent (103571 or later) 5.0 test build a try?

comment:2 by GoodGodd, 9 years ago

Hi there.

It's crashed again after upgrade to 5.0.9 ver (2days). This time i get error window on host m/c, all in attachments. Also after restart, logingate software, natnetwork works almost 24h witch is long time. Since last crash VBox working fine (3 days) even with 35+ online connection on one time but we expect to crash it soon. Always when we gating to 40+ online it's crashing.

Many Thanks in advance for having a look on my problem.

Please, can you provide a dump for the crash next time it happens?

PS: 5.0.10 was just released today, it doesn't have any additional fixes in that area, but it might be more convenient as a reference point if you planned to upgrade anyway.

HI, i did install Vbox 5,0,10 and my crash nat network stops. We have our gate soft crash but after restart it's working fine.

I can't get to full crash anymore and get full dump, cose we have to perform restart of server and its every 7 - 8 days.

I can say this update fix most of our problems.

I will try make server crash to get full dump in a future but this update was very good for us big step.

Thanks, speak you soon.

Hi, our nat network crash after 2 days. No error msg etc. Please have a look in log files in attachments above.

The files you attach are from unrelated process. Instead, please, attach a dump of the VBoxNetNAT.exe process, as requested in comment:4.

Hi, i don't have dump file. I don't know why, maybe i have done something wrong. I did enable it in registry and in System Properties, changed location, etc.

What i can tell you is:

5.0.10 - login gate works 7 days before network crashed (natnetwork) 5.0.16 - login gate works 4 days before network crashed (natnetwork) 5.0.17 - login gate works 2 days before network crashed (natnetwork)

We get back to 5.0.10 now. First time it didn't helped and still crashed after 2 days but now we reinstall it again. Hope it will help.

If anyone can help how to get dump file host windows 7 and guest windows server 2003 (i did try do it on both). I fallow your guide and other from Microsoft etc. Did change location of dump file etc. No luck with it. Many Thanks in Advance.
