This issue is still valid with VB 5.0.10. Either you enable unscaled HighDPI support or 3D acceleration, but both is not possible.

Guest: Windows 10 Pro, Host: Mac OSX 10.10.5, Virtualbox: 5.0.10

Same as #14349

Same exact issue, still present in 5.1.30. You can't enable 3d acceleration AND Unscaled HiDPI mode together. It's one OR the other. Speed, or fuzziness, choose one.

Host: OS X 10.13 High Sierra

Guest: Windows 10 N

Virtual Box: 5.1.30 r118389

Could you upgrade to the recent VirtualBox (6.1.2 for ex) and verify that HiDPI feature works fine. Guest Additions should be updated also.
