VirtualBox failed to start

Description
Cannot get VB to launch, I have uninstalled and reinstalled at least 5 times, I have administrator rights and have tried changing the compatibility mode several times. I have looked over existing tickets and have not found a solution. I keep getting error message: Failed to create the VirtualBox COM object.
The application will now terminate.
I'm currently using Windows XP 32bit
