Trying to boot and install 12.04 64-bit it crashes before the installer loads. This started happening after upgrading from 4.2. It occurred in 4.3.6 as well.
PS. #12949 is a duplicate of this.

Thanks for the logs. It finally dawned on me what's going wrong here - incorrect invalid bit masks for a few MSRs that can contain 64-bit canonical addresses. Should be fixed the next bugfix release.

Just to be sure: VBox 4.3.14 (just released) still has the same problem?

It appears to the VINF_EM_TRIPLE_FAULT error. I can't seem to change the description.
