Description
When I am installing oracle linux 6.4 x64 in a virtual machine it keeps crashing when it reboots to finish the steps to install the os. If I then restart it to do the final steps on creating the first user account it also crashes when it is about to go to the login screen for the first time. I have even tried using 4.2.14 and it does it also.
I have a hp dv6-6c35dx with 16gb ram and just changed the hard drive to a seagate hybrid drive ST1000LM014. I freshly reinstalled the windows 7 os from the factory discs and the computer is working fine. All other software is working correctly. I have attached the log files from the vm itself.

I have the same problem. VM keeps crashing after installing Oracle Linux 6.4. I don’t know if it is a coincidence, but I am also running on a computer that has a ST1000LM014 Seagate Hybrid disk drive. All the other VMs are running fine, I just have problem when I try to install Oracle Linux 6.4.

I see that CompTech has 3D enabled. Could you check if the VM still crashes if you disable 3D, just for testing if this is a 3D issue or not?

Encountered same thing on a Thinkpad X220 host (Win 7), disabling 3D did not resolve. Back rev'd from 4.2.18 to 4.2.6, still a problem. Back rev'd to VBox 4.1.26 and OL 6.4 installs fine now.
