Host: Windows 7 Home premium (64 bits) Guest: Windows 7 Ultimate (64 bits)
I got E_ACCESSDENIED after restoring a Win 7 64 bits snapshot. Since the VM worked on the second try, I wonder if I started the VM too soon after restoring the snapshot.

Try to reboot your computer before you try to restore your snapshot. That the still unfixed bug that the VM isn't safely shut down if not enough memory is available. See #10219.
