Which method do you use?

• command line (vboxmanage controlvm) - it's OK, it's working as usual.
• GUI menu - it's not working and it has never worked at all.

I get this too with 4.2.2.

Using VM Menu or "Host+E" shortcut, get the dialog of where to save image but it doesn't create the image.

However, using:

C:\Program Files\Oracle\VirtualBox\VBoxManage.exe controlvm "Windows 8 EE" screenshotpng "C:\Temp\Windows 8 EE.png"

works.
