USB support problem with VB 4.2

OS: Mac OSX 10.7.4 and last VB 4.2 with extension pack Desc.: After update to last version I was lost possibility to connect any USB devices. All trail to connection end with same error messages like this:

On VB 4.1 I have no problem - I try reinstall VB, extension and so on but without success.

I assume this message is shown when you have a VM running and try to assign the USB device? Could you attach the VBox.log file from such a VM session?

Yes, this message display when I try attached USB device on running machine. I look into the Log (attached) but is doesn't log. Any external device are impossible to attached.

Any changes after installing 4.2.1 for OSX. The problem are in all host.

I done same experiment and read forums and maybe a problem is in filters. When I make a New Filter without any limitation (vendor, etc.) with remotely any - then I can connect any device after plugin it. When I make a specially filter for specific device - comes mistake. OK I found a way how use a new version - but it is not correct behavioral.

Hi, I have the same problem too, but with Mac OS X 10.7.5 Virtual Box 4.2.6 r82870 I tried to create a filter, but when I try attached USB device on running machine I obtain only the same warning message of yours: Failed to attach the USB "###" to the virtual machine. Please reopen if still relevant with a recent VirtualBox release.
