The excerpt from the logfile you posted is from VirtualBox 4.1.22, the version number you set if for 4.2.0, what is correct? Please attach the complete logfile. Also, where does this OVF come from, was this exported by VirtualBox? When you try to start the VM, is the VBoxSVC service running or did it crash for any reason?

Sorry, not able to reproduce anymore. Now I'm getting "Error loading operating system".

See #11315

The OVF was generated by vmware workstation 9 via export dialog.

Running Windows 7 and 8 on Asus G73S. Have Windows XP programs that I am trying to run on Virtual Box. Got the following error:

Result Code: E_FAIL (0x80004005) Component: ProgressProxy Interface: IProgress {c20238e4-3221-4d3f-8891-81ce92d9f913}

Would greatly appreciate a solution. Thanks Desperate
