VirtualBox crashes in audio handling => Fixed in SVN
Reported by: | Thomas Törnblom | Owned by: | |
---|---|---|---|
Component: | audio | Version: | VirtualBox 4.1.10 |
Keywords: | Cc: | ||
Guest type: | Solaris | Host type: | Solaris |
Description
My Solaris 11 guest, running on a Solaris 11 host, crashes on a daily basis now it seems.
It has occasionally crashed in audio routines before, but something has changed recently that makes it happen more often.
I have updated both the host and guest from s11u1_09 to s11u1_12, and also updated vbox from 4.1.8 to 4.1.10.
I have reported one crash that appeared to happen in the RDP extension, but this is different.
I am using a Sun Ray 2 as the display/kbd/mouse/audio device.

Summary: | VirtualBox crashes in audio handling → VirtualBox crashes in audio handling => Fixed in SVN |
---|
We think we found and fixed this problem. The fix will be available in the next maintenance release. You can work around this problem if you disable audio for that VM (on your host, audio is not working for some reason and the NUL audio driver is used instead).
