v1 v2 3 3 4 4 5 I'm using VBox 5.0.40 on a Ubuntu host with a Debian guest and could not get the thing to let me create symbolic links in the shared folder with the aformentioned fix. I could not find anyentry changed by VBoxManage. I ended up with editing ~/.config/VirtualBox/VirtualBox.xml (while no VBox related progs running of course) placing the line5 I'm currently trying out VBox 5.0.40 on a Ubuntu host with a Debian guest and could not get the thing to let me create symbolic links in the shared folder with the aformentioned fix. I ended up with editing ~/.config/VirtualBox/VirtualBox.xml (while no VBox related progs running of course) placing the line 6 6 7 7 <ExtraDataItem name="VBoxInternal2/SharedFoldersEnableSymlinksCreate/SHARE_NAME" value="1"/>
